The cheapest published paid placement we found anywhere is $14.99, at Uneed. Below that, the only route is a free queue measured in weeks or months.
Nearly half hide the number
4 of 9 publish no figure at all. 3 of those are MCP directories: one shows sponsor logos and a link to become one, one says only the word Paid. The 4th is a newsletter with 1.15 million readers that answers with a custom proposal.
Free means waiting
Where a $0 path exists, the vendor's own page prices it in time: 90+ days of review at one, a launch date up to 5 months out at another. The queue is the fee.

The same question, asked of this Board

What this table does not promise is traffic. The rows above buy a position on one page; the vendors above buy a position on much larger ones. A rank here is worth what this Board's audience is worth on the day you buy it, which is why every click we have ever delivered is counted in public on the price of attention, alongside what everyone paid. Bids are non-refundable.
When one of the rows above is the better buy
If you can wait 3 months and you want a permanent backlink, a free queue is worth more than anything on our Ladder, because our rows are designed to expire and theirs are not. If your product is aimed at buyers rather than builders, a newsletter with 1.15 million readers is a different order of magnitude of reach and worth the custom proposal.
A rank here answers a narrower question: what does the cheapest honest unit of attention cost, and can I see exactly what I got. Nobody owns a rank on this Board. Everybody rents one, and the rent is on the page next to the button.
